Pastor Elbert Haskin

Husband, Father, Pastor, Entrepreneur…..

I must work the works of he that sent me while it is day for when night cometh no man can work.  These words voice the sentiments of Pastor Elbert Haskins.

As the eldest of seven children Pastor Haskins start early learning to work with different personalities and solving disputes.   Little did he know that God was using this as OJT for working in ministry.

Receiving Christ at the age of 29 and being filled with the Holy Spirit further prepared Pastor Elbert Haskins for his role as a pastor.  He learned through examples of his leaders to love the word and the status of God.

His love for learning keeps him engaged in academia both naturally and spiritually.  He has attended several colleges where he earned his management and welding certification.  He is also constantly found attended biblical classes to enhance his knowledge, application and dissemination of the word of God.

Being ordained as a pastor positioned him for his life work.  He has served several churches in a leadership capacity.  Today he is the Outreach Pastor as Christ Worship Center church in Houston, Texas. He partnered with the Houston Food Bank to feed more than 300 families monthly while managing 25-40 volunteers. He also lends his knowledge of the word to shape the younger generation by teaching in the youth department and in the Christian Education department.

Pastor Haskins is married to Lady Beverly Haskin.  They are the owners of “Blessed Shoes and More”.  She says he is a wonderful pastor, faithful husband and devoted father.  His life is hidden in Christ.
