Pastor Nicholas Tatum, a native Houstonian, was born March 17, 1979.  Nicholas is married with three wonderful children. He has been serving under Apostle Johnson since 2001 studying closely under his mentorship.  Pastor Tatum's aptitude for the Word of God and application of biblical principals to his life has always caused him to advance in the body of Christ.  In 1991, at the age of 12, he was honored by the F.C.A. (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) in their camp convention at Sugar Creek Baptist Church.  Before obtaining his associates degree in Science from Houston Community College Systems, he graduated from the High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice, where he was head of Youth for Christ.  He went straight from high school to working for the Houston Police Department (HPD).  Nicholas is currently a police officer with an advanced peace officer status and has been with HPD for over ten years.  He has also achieved a black belt in Chun Kuk Do along with many awards and trophies.  Pastor Tatum was gifted by God with a fondness for speaking and good oratory abilities, which lead him to join Toastmasters International.  He quickly rose in the organization and became an Area Governor while at the same time being vice president of his local chapter.  He and a partner then started a seminar and speaking business known as Critical Conversations in 1999.  The University of Houston used Critical Conversations, on multiple occasions, to teach and speak at its leadership conferences.  

Pastor Tatum was the director of the “Transitional Christian Crew” and spent a few years as Youth Pastor at Christ Worship Center.  He developed original lessons, for the groups, with easily understood applications.  His gift of teaching leads him to deeper research for accurate and practical appropriations for future life lessons.  He is currently the Pastor in charge of Member Fellowship and Consecration. Pastor Tatum's love for God and His people helps him to serve with passion.
