Minister-In-Training
Claude Reed, II

Bio
Claude Dryal Reed II was born to Johnnie Dorsey and Claude Reed Sr. on May 18, 1979. Recognizing his early interest in music, his parents supported his development by enrolling him in piano and drum lessons. Bro. Reed embraced the Christian faith and was baptized at Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Bennet Cortez, Sr.
At age twelve, Mr. Reed dedicated his passion for percussion to service at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, where he was part of the music ministry under Pastor Emeritus Calvin O. Randall. He served faithfully as the church’s percussionist and became the inaugural percussionist for the quartet group For the Lord, which led to opportunities to collaborate with both established and emerging gospel artists.
Subsequently, after joining Pine Oak Cornerstone Baptist Church under Pastor Don R. Caggins Sr., Bro. Reed continued contributing musically. Pastor Caggins recognized additional potential and appointed him to a trial period as a Deacon, ultimately ordaining him at age seventeen. Over the following thirty years, Bro. Reed expanded his musical outreach, ministering for numerous churches, choirs, and quartets throughout the Houston area.
In 2008, Bro. Reed married the love of his life, Sheryl, and in 2018, they initiated a community Bible Study that evolved into Restoration of Faith Ministries. Responding to the long-standing call God had on his life, Bro. Reed finally gave God his “Yes” in 2023. Due to life circumstances, Restoration of Faith Ministries was placed on hiatus, and the Reeds subsequently joined Christ Worship Center under the leadership of Bishop Ed and Overseer Marilyn Johnson.
