Pastor Shannon Brown is a servant leader that delights in the gift of serving and ministering to the people of God. She strives daily to encourage, educate, empower and edify the people of God through believing, prayer, teaching and living out the Word of God in love and good deeds. She comes from a family of preachers and teachers who believed in God and His Word. It cultivated in her a heart for Him. Pastor Shannon worked in the banking industry for over 20 years before God called her to full-time ministry in 2008. Pastor Brown has served for over 30 years in many capacities of ministry. The leadership journey for Pastor Shannon progressed from Youth Ministry to the Director of Vacation Bible School, enjoying the fellowship of the Greeters Ministry, accepting the challenge of growth teaching & leading the Women’s Ministry to experiencing the grace of the Seasoned Saints and currently serving as Care Pastor at Christ Worship Center in Houston, Tx under the Sr. Leadership of Apostle Ed & Overseer Marilyn Johnson. God has given Pastor Shannon the wisdom, ability, capacity and the compassion through the Holy Spirit to serve and lead in this hour. Pastor Shannon is the Founder of J-girls, a ministry for girls 9-18 to encourage accepting Christ and learning to love and live for Him in their formative years. The Gathering of Deborah’s, a cohort for equipping and empowering young adult women to wholly live for God. She serves on the Board and Council of Sister2Sister Gathering a 501c3 Women’s Ministry. Pastor Shannon is faithfully and joyfully married to Pastor Daniel Brown. She is the proud mother of 6, Nana of 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a quiver of God children! Pastor Shannon is grateful for John 3:16.
